    Greetings,

I am curious if anyone has any insight to the problem of that is addressed in Galations? In the last chapter it appears that the Pharisees have gotten a hold of them, and are trying to set up chop-shop.

However, In chapter 4, it appears that the pagans have found them, and are trying to get them to worship with things such as xmas, easter, and so forth?
Galations 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
    9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? {turn ye again: or, turn ye back} {elements: or, rudiments}
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
They seem to be worshipping as they did before? And yes, I am quite sure that The Father's days are not being spoken of here?

Any insight to the seemingly change of problems?

    Sincerely,
    Valid Name
    Luke 2:14

    Gal 2
7 On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as Peter had been to the Jews.
8 For God, who was at work in the ministry of Peter as an apostle to the Jews, was also at work in my ministry as an apostle to the Gentiles.

Paul was spreading Christianity specifically to the Gentiles, and so was specifically trying to cater the religion to them.

A (former?) agent of the Sanhedrin, Saul succeeded in turning this fringe Jewish political movement into a religion very unattractive to the Jews.

The less Jewish it tasted, the less Jews who would be tempted.

Notice how Messianics are now trying desperately to infuse Jewish details into Christianity.

They pick Jewish 'looking' practices to follow, lighting Friday night candles, wearing a yarmelka, ... these happen to be strictly rabbinic origin, not biblical. Ironic.

Ask a messianic woman why she doesn't wear fringes (tzitzis) / prayer shawl. The relief of women from that specific obligation was from the rabbinic ORAL laws. There's nothing in the bible stating that women don't have to wear them... that's a Pharisee source.

Yet Messianics follow these Pharisitic traditions and more... ?

    Why?

Because they are hiding Jesus behind Yeshua.

The whole world knows who Jesus is.

    Why go with 'Yeshua'?

I saw this lady the other day with a star of David around her neck. I asked her if she was Jewish.

    She said she was, yes.

Then she said she was adopted.

    I thought, how nice.

Then she said she was actually adopted into the 'real' chosen people, the Catholics, through her 'faith in the Lord Jesus Christ'.
