  • Isael's Land

The descendants of Israel will as a nation turn to Yeshua their messiah, and also they will occupy the central place in the millennial age when Yeshua personally brings to this earth universal peace, prosperity, and justice. The believers in Yeshua cannot lay claim to the promise of the land of Canaan, they do have a distinctive place in Yahweh’s program, but the promise of Canaan belongs to Israel, and to Israel alone. Long ago the prophets of the descendants of Israel saw the earthly millennial kingdom as a prelude to the eternal kingdom of Yahweh, and they spoke of it as eternal. They viewed the new heaven and new earth in close connection with the millennial kingdom to come upon this present earth. As long as this earth stands in its present form, Israel holds the title-deed to the entire land of Canaan. Thus, the land of Canaan belongs to Israel through all time as an earthly possession, and in eternity Canaan will be transfigured and much enlarge.

The new earth will be the eternal resting place for the New Jerusalem, which is 1500 miles in length and breadth and height. This will require a vastly enlarged and different globe from our planet as it exists today. Then, too, the new earth will have no sea. Even though the descendants of Israel will occupy and control all of Canaan during the 1000-year earthly reign of Yeshua, they will not have it forever. The bible views the millennial kingdom of Yeshua as the door into the universal eternal kingdom of Yahweh. The present earth-system will be burned, and the new heaven and new earth will come in its place. On this new earth, Yahweh will fulfill his promise to Israel that she will have a distinct national identity and territory forever. The earthly throne of David will not be abolished, but will merge into the eternal throne upon the new earth. On the new earth Israel will still be distinct, and have her own king-perhaps David. Yeshua will leave his throne as the millennial king to take his place on the one eternal throne, “The throne of Yahweh and the lamb”, thus bring the millennial kingdom to an end as it leads into the eternal kingdom of Yahweh in the new heaven and the new earth. Yeshua will continue to exercise his regal authority, but will do so as the eternal son with the Father.

    Something To Consider!

    Hi Newnature,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

The Apostle Paul wrote this concerning the promise of land:

    Romans 4:13
13 For the promise, that he (Abraham) should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Notice that Paul looks at the promise of land inheritance as really being a promise that includes the whole world. I live in Missouri. Abraham owns my land through the promise, and Abraham also owns your land wherever you may live, and not only our land, but the land of the whole world.

Indeed, the promise of inheritance from YAHWEH ELOHIM is made to two individuals, that is, to Abraham and to his Seed, which is the YAHWEH Yahushua Messiah. My Messiah Yahushua is the Seed of Abraham:

    Galatians 3:16
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Messiah.

I am a believer in Messiah Yahushua; therefore, the promise of land inheritance also belongs to me as Paul does teach:

    Galatians 3:26-29
26 For ye are all the children of ELOHIM by faith in Messiah Yahushua.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Messiah have put on Messiah.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah Yahushua.
29 And if ye be Messiah's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I belong to Messiah, and because I belong to HIM, I have an inheritance that also includes the whole world, and the land of Canaan is not excluded from this inheritance. Accordingly, the land of Canaan does also belong to me.

What about you, Newnature, do you believe in Messiah Yahushua?

Thanking any in advance that should be moved to reply, I am,

    Sincerely, Latuwr

Thanks for sharing that info, just something I heard and trying to get a better understanding of it. You cleared up a lot of things for me. Yeshua is my brother, he truly is the messiah. Thanks for the insight, Robert.

          The Land of HIS Inheritance!

          Hi Danny23,
Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

I beg to disagree. I myself am of Israel in a physical sense. One of my great, great..........Grandads was Joseph, and if you look and see, some tremendous promises were given to him and his descendants.
Moses said this to my fathers and to me:
          Deuteronomy 30:1-8
1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither YAHWEH thy ELOHIM hath driven thee,
          2 And shalt return unto YAHWEH thy ELOHIM, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3 That then YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither YAHWEH thy ELOHIM hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will YAHWEH thy ELOHIM gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love YAHWEH thy ELOHIM with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of YAHWEH, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
According to the spiritual, the physical land of Canaan represents the risen Messiah Yahushua. At HIS resurrection, Messiah inherited the land of HIS sojourning, that is, HIS physical body, and HIS resurrected physical body in a spiritual sense is representative of the Cosmos or Universe. So, the promise of land inheritance to Abraham and his SEED actually means a whole lot more than most even think to imagine.
Because My Messiah has made me a part of HIMSELF, I share in HIS inheritance, that is, only if I believe in HIM.
Do you believe that the resurrected Yahushua inherited the Promised Land?
Thanking you in advance should you be moved to reply, I am,
          Sincerely, Latuwr
