The God and Justice
Humanity has been practicing justice and injustice right from its beginning. Mostly injustice was also done in name of justice. Those who had committed injustice very rarely acknowledged their mistake that of injustice being taken as justice. The persons, nations and communities committed heinous inhuman cruelties and yet they said that justice was being done. Had they been put in opposite scale gravity of their injustice would have been revealed to them. Many times in history tables were turned over but when opposite side happened to gain power that also lost sense of justice completely. Behold the bloody partition of Indian sub-continent in 1947; both concerned parties did justice dreadful, horrible, in- human justice. Their religions allowed them, and their religious leaders enticed to do that justice and their God or god's were not angry but pleased to see that looting, plundering, raping, burning families and targeting infants with spears before eyes of their parents. Human history is full of such incidents but no doubt real and pure justice also existed among persons or nation though very rare. The causes of such so called justice were no doubt abhorred-some and selfishness being cause with regard to their respective caste, race, nation, religion and whatever they owned. Desires of having and gaining supremacy over rest who do not or did not belong to them and desire of gaining more power and safety justified all their atrocities.
Human civilization has progressed positively towards gaining insight in behavior of humans and human rights, though I have some personal reservations about harms done to natural family life, irrespective of region or religions. The God created humans but most humans were infected with selfish desires and very few were/are able to preserve the God given humanism. Believers of the God surely had and have insight into humanism and justice, totally unbiased justice and those who had/have not the capability were/are so called self declared believers.
Some religions or regional communal groups have been practicing, are practicing and some still desire to practice blind cruel justice which spreads hatred, depression and anger. Such justice is suppressive in its nature so victims develop desire of resistance and revolt if possible against law or religion itself. Therefore civilized communities don’t want such laws being practiced though books containing such laws are held much sacred by concerned communities. Although this is a disparity but followers don’t bother and don’t want to ponder deeply in such matters.
The requirement of justice differs from case to case. Every individual case or person concerned requires separate approach for judgment. Criteria and purpose of such judgment should be promotion of love and peace among humans and not merely punishment. If love and peace are in danger then appropriate punishment must be awarded, light or harsh according to nature of crime and atrocity committed. Justice with love is much appreciable if it works, especially when offender or offenders have lost power of aggression and acknowledge their crime. Liberty, equality among persons, communities and groups is most necessary factor of justice and personal freedom as long as it does not harm others must be ensured.
The various claims of supremacies over others are also harmful for social justice.
Let the love rule, if its rule is threatened then justice should intervene with required force and might. To struggle or to provide force for justice is Godly.
