Do little children sin?

According to what I have read in the Bible so far the age children begin to sin is at age eight. At least it seems to be the age they are accountable for their actions.

I'm just wondering, where did you read that?

In 2 Chr. 34:1 and 36:9. It does not exactly say that it is the age. What the verses contain just led me to ponder the question.
If they are old enough to reign at that age they must be accountable for what they do. Well that is what I came up with when I read them.
Then I came across another verse in 2Kings. I read that book after I know it comes before though. Someone I met gave me a list of the order the books in the Bible were really written so I am following that list right now. 2 Kings is right after 2 Chr. The verse in 2 Kings 24:8 says Jehoiachin was 18 when he began his reign the verse in 2 Chr. says he was eight. So now I have a new question. Which age was it 8 or 18? It can't be both.

Thanks for doing the searching that site will come in handy. I figured it must be eighteen. I looked at the NIV version on the internet http://www.biblegateway.com/cgi-bin/bible, both verses have eighteen. Looks like they may have fixed the misprints in there.

Yes, my NIV bible says 18 (in 2 Chron 36:9), but there is a note that says that it reads 18 in "one Hebrew manuscript, some Septuagint manuscripts and Syriac; most Hebrew manuscripts eight."

Obviously, somebody made an error somewhere along the road. We have some manuscripts that say "eight" and some that say "eighteen". But since there's no doubt about the other scripture (2 Kings 24:8), then we'll have to believe that Jehoiachin was 18. That's pretty interesting...

I checked the JST just for good measure. 2 Chron 36:9 says "eight" years old, like the KJV.

I haven't studied this, but at first glance, well okay, second glance , it looks to me like...

"one like a son of man" = Jesus
"Ancient of Days" = God the Father

Sure, Adam was the first to walk the earth, but G-d always was. Wouldn't it also make sense that He's the Ancient of Days?

I need to study this...

That idea did cross my mind. Then like I always do I start thinking deeper. It says Ancient of days. God always was and will always be days can't number Him. So how can He be Ancient of days when days don't exist for God.

I did wonder how we got from children sinning to Ancient of days, the tought you posted on the wrong one never crossed my mind. Now I know why such a strange change.
