  • I got banned, apparently

I was trying to have a discussion over at Eliyah's message board and I apparently said the wrong thing when I stated that I'm a "Christian".

Now I'm not allowed to post there.

    bummer.

I could have learned from them.

They could have learned from me.

Now, the gift spoken of in Romans 1:11-12 cannot be given to me nor through me at their message board.

    bummer.

Hyssop, I'm glad you keep me around here.

    with love,
    matt

The rules of this forum do not dictate that one believes a certain way in order to be here. Obviously, if our stated purpose is to seek the knowledge of our Creator and His will by looking at the biblical scriptures, it would be preferrable for those here to believe that there is, indeed, a Creator who has given to us the scriptures. However, as long as those here treat one another with love and respect, they are welcome.

So, my friend, you are more than welcome.

Furthermore, it looks like it's just two or three of us anyway.
Pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the [messiah] out of a pure heart. (II Tim 2:22)

What happened to Searching/Scarlet? Is he doing okay? I haven't heard from him in quite a while.

If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have known about this forum.

And thanks, Hyssop, for making me feel welcome. I've learned a lot from talking on this board since I first signed in. People here really seem to love the scriptures that our Father has given to us.

        EliYah's Forum

        Shalom Matt,

I have requested from EliYah a dispensation from his rules so that I could post again on his forum, but he has been unrelenting. He used to allow us to post on the "True Faith Forum" when we were not in complete agreement with his requirements for posting, but it appears he has banished that also. I had just recently written the following post that I wanted to post on the "True Faith Forum," but it would not allow me to do so. What he fails to realize is that many who post on his forum are made to be liars by his requirements, because many who post there do not believe in ONLY using the sacred names for Elohim, Yahweh, and Yahshua. The problem with forcing people to become liars just so they can try to understand what he is teaching, is wrong. He should be strong enough in his faith and beliefs that Messiah will convince those whom He is calling to believe the Truth. I would like to ask EliYah how long it took him to incorporate his current pronounciation and beliefs of the sacred name into his teachings. Was it immediate? Did it take time for him to argue with the person trying to convince him of it? His system does not allow for the conversion process, and that is a shame.

Anyway, I know how you feel...I have seen many banished from his forum, and I have banished myself. Here is a copy of what I had wanted to write on the "True Faith Forum." It is my personal beliefs and not neccessarily the views of the Tzaddikim:

        Shalom All,

It has been awhile since I have posted, but I do continue to come and read the main forum frequently. The topic of the "Mark of the beast" continues to be discussed and I would like to share some of what I have been blessed with.

        The beast is "sinful/carnal" man.
The mark of the beast is "sin."

It's that simple. Man is nothing more than a beast to Yahweh Elohim (Psa 49:12 & 20, Psa 73:22, Eccl 3:18), and the mark that is always on the thoughts (forehead) and works (hand) of sinful man is SIN (Isa 59, Gen 6:5, Mark 7:21, Rms 3:23). What a sinner thinks and does MARKS them with SIN.

Now, one may ask how this thinking meshes with Rev 13:17 concerning the "buying and selling" associated with the mark:
Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
What one needs to consider is NOT the buying and selling of physical things, but rather things that are of a spiritual nature. The Truth, Salvation, Righteousness, Wisdom, Understanding, White Raiment, are all Spiritual entities that are "purchased" through Messiah by BEING A SINNER. First look at these Scriptures:
Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be cloth, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed the church of Elohim, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
The most important understanding of the "buying and selling" spoken of in Revelations, concerns salvation and the things associated with salvation. Without SIN (the mark of sinful man), salvation can neither be bought nor sold. It is sinful man's SIN that shed the innocent blood of Messiah, and it is ONLY sinners who can purchase the righteousness received through the sacrifice of Messiah. All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of Elohim, therefore all can sell/confess their sin to Elohim, and purchase/receive the salvation of righteousness found in Messiah Yahshua. This is why Paul wrote that IF anyone tries to obtain righteousness in the Messiah, they HAD TO BE A SINNER:
Galatians 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified (made righteous) by Messiah, we ourselves also are FOUND sinners, is therefore Messiah the minister of sin? Elohim forbid.
Messiah graciously received our sin and the results of it (His death), and those who use the confession of their sin, receive the "gold" that is refined in fire, their salvation. It's that simple. To buy the truth, to purchase salvation, to seek justification/righteousness in Messiah Yahshua, one must be willing to sell their sin over to death, in Yahshua's death. A sinner must give up their sin, and in doing so, they die. The sinner is no longer alive. The new creature in Messiah Yahshua no longer carries the mark of sin, for they have been redeemed from it. By confessing your sin, you are in effect "selling" it over to death, so that you may have a new life in the only one who is truly living, Messiah Yahshua. That "beast," that old sinful man has been put to death, and those who are IN Yahshua no longer are "marked" with sin.

This understanding of the beast and it's mark is rather simple when you "see" it. It allows for ALL of mankind who has risen out of the "sea" of humanity (Rev 13) to have been part of the "beast" and the "mark." It also allows for another "beast" to come up out of the earth, which is all of sinful mankind that lived and died throughtout the first seven millennia, along with the head or father of sinful man, Satan. Those who on this Eigth Great Day that take the mark of sin and willfully worship the flesh, will not enter into life.

Those who think the mark is a computer chip or some other physical manifestation of something placed under or on their skin is deceived. The beast and mark of the beast is something that ALL of mankind has worshipped, which is our flesh and sin, and those who overcome the beast and it's mark will have life:
Revelation 2:7 7 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of Elohim.'

Revelation 2:11 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.'

        Revelation 2:26 'And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations;

Revelation 3:5 'He who overcomes shall thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.

Revelation 3:12 'He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My Elohim, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write upon him the name of My Elohim, and the name of the city of My Elohim, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My Elohim, and My new name.

Revelation 3:21 'He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Revelation 21:7 "He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his Elohim and he will be My son.

Revelation 15:2 And I saw, as it were, a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had come off victorious from the beast and from his image and from the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of Elohim.

May Yahweh bless us all in our effort to keep away from willful sin.
        May Yahweh bless DeAnna.

        Blessings in the Name,
        ImAHebrew

What ticks me off about getting the boot from Eliyah's is that after I "baited" some people into questioning my beliefs, I was then booted and not allowed to defend my beliefs. I hope they know that I am not just "chicken" and that I'm simply just unable to post.

I wonder, what is the purpose of Eliyah's forum anyways?

            EliYah!

            Greetings Matthew!

I too once posted at EliYah's forums. I semi enjoyed it. At EliYah.com he has many of his beliefs posted, all articles I believe were written by him. Some I like, some I don't. On the right side of the page though is a place called scripture meditation - in it there is a link about 'how do you feel right now.' It's kind of cool.

I believe that his number one thing is the Names of Elohim, Yeshua, and Yahweh is what he wishes to get across. These to him seem to be the only names that The Father will respond to.

I do know that he puts as much stock in the physical sounds that the mouth makes when they say these names as he does in the physical keeping of The Torah.

I do not understand why someone would not let someone who does not believe in on an entire forum. I can understand if there is a forum that dedicated to serious scripture study to keep the distractors out of those, but to deny completely is beyond me.

I believe it was Messiah who said 'The healthy are not in need of a doctor, the sick are.'

            Peace,

I got the boot from Eliyah's before I had a chance to "put the hammer down", but I'm glad you went to check it out.

I wouldn't say that I'd be considered a heretic just because of my views on the days of crucifixion/resurrection!

                I'll talk more this weekend...

                  Greetings Matthew!

No problem about the computer issues! In a text book I have a virus is defined as a program that creates undesired effects. It would stand to reason that Windows is a Virus !

I am curious if the others in your congregation believe the same about the death as you do. I know that the majority of Traditional Christianity does believe 'good friday' was the day he died.

From what I know this teaching gets attributed to the Seventh Day Adventists most often - and they are a cult according to most!

I don't know for sure, but I'd say just about everyone there besides myself believes that Messiah died on Friday. Perhaps many of them just believe it because it's traditional??? I know I did.

                        Greetings Robin!

Ab and I left at the same time and I think for the same reasons. It became quite apparent after the 'Trypho the Jew' Thread that we were unwelcome.

A man named John was talking with Ab, and liked some of what he had to say. This upset the herd, and they became rather unpleasent toward Ab. Me, being friends with Ab and sharing his views, took this against myself as well. I felt it was best that I would leave along with Ab.

I just haven't posted anything for a long time, that's all. Completely Calm is a great forum. I go through spurts at different forums every now and then, and lately, Completely Calm hasn't been one of them.
