Frustrated, that is not good. Sure we can talk about something elsse. This came up in a conversation I had, I'm not sure how he learned of this. Deep thinker maybe very deep and gets every detail. He mentioned that the earth had a sheet of ice around it.
It does make since that it would be. Reading about the changes after the flood. The age decrease.....
Well has that for a new conversation?

"Did I tell you that I read most of the BOM. I'm into 3 Nephi."

Nope you did not mention it before. Are you still reading it or you just got to there?

I read most of it last December and January. I got to Alma and a lot of wars started to break out... I got bored and put it down for a while. Since then, I get the urge to open it now and then and I read a few chapters or so. To me, it is very interesting.

      your friend,

p.s. Still haven't heard from Sister O. I hope she didn't lose our address again

Yea Alma is a long book and hard to get through. Patience is a good thing to read. Once when I read it, it was actually very interesting. It can bore you though if your not in the mood.

I don't know why she has not contacted you yet. I should call her and give her some rebuking. Of coarse I would find out the reason first, then rebuke if needed. Or I could always give you her number.

I'd like to hear how you came to the faith you presently have. Were you born in an LDS family? Did missionaries come to you? When were you baptised? etc...

Yes I was born into the faith, most my family does not attend anymore. They stopped going after that are family fell apart and my parents divorced. Then in 2000, while at work something happened that changed my life forever and I knew the Lord's church is His only. It is from His gosple that we can find lasting happiness. Well, after what happened I could not refuse to go on a mission so I did. I don't know how it happened but it did. As shy as I was I wondered why He asked me. I can go into more detail if you would like.

You don't need to give up, you never will learn anything or get anywhere if you give up. You can go for as long as you wish. I let you know one thing though. Which I am sure you already know. It's a lot harder to move a boulder then a pebble.

So What? Jennifer, this is essential to finding out the truth of who G-d is. By saying "so what if the word LORD is Lord", you're basically saying, "so what if the bible says that".

I will never consider Joseph Smith as a true prophet because of what he taught about G-d. There's no way I can do it. The bible tells me something completely different. YHWH does not have a father. He has a Son, whose Name is Yeshua (Jesus). I bear witness of these things...

                      with love,
                      matt

And this is what I base my opinion on:

                          John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with G-d, and the Word was G-d.

                          It doesn't say "a" G-d.

I pray that you will consider basing your opinion on the Word of G-d (Gen-Rev) and not on the word of man.

Where else did you serve as a missionary other than the St. Louis area?

                          with much love-
                          your friend,

Our mission covered 2 hours around SL, my first area was downtown SL, then Ellisville, near Feruson, St.Peters, and east St.Louis.
