  • Stan, The Man!

    Hi Everyone,
Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!
Growing up in the 50's in St. Louis, MO, my first sports love was baseball, and my very first hero was Stan Musial. I was blessed to see Stan hit 4 home runs in a double header at the Old Sportsman's Park in St. Louis. My Dad, who at 92 is still living, took me to see those games.
At one time, I possessed an autographed picture of Stan which I have lost along with all of my collected baseball cards. My Dad obtained this picture for me from Charles DeWitt who was also my Dad's insurance agent.
I bring this to your attention because of InChrist's quote of Deuteronomy 8:3 in the above post:

    Deuteronomy 8:3
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that (the) man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of YAHWEH doth (the) man live.

Please notice that I have included the definite articles in my quote. I believe that in order to properly understand this verse that it is necessary that the reader understand that it is not any old man that lives; rather, it is the Man!
Why is it that we all grow older, and eventually get sick and die, if we are indeed the Man?
I mean, maybe it is necessary to recognize that the Scriptures contain secrets which are not obvious. Maybe it is necessary to recognize that life depends upon recognizing what is hidden to the eyes of all that grow older, and eventually get sick and die. Do you desire to live, or do you imagine that you must grow older and die?
Thanking any in advance that should be moved to reply, I am,
    Sincerely, Latuwr
