Reincarnation And The Law!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Recently, I have had the pleasure of visiting two Christian Forums which espouse and teach reincarnation. This Thread is dedicated to shining the spot light on reincarnation by looking at reincarnation through the microscope of the Law.

Messiah Yahushua said this about the Law:

Matthew 5:17-18
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Is it possible to find in the Law any jot or tittle that requires reincarnation? If such a jot or tittle exists, then we would be forced to admit that reincarnation is a reality which Messiah Himself will bring to completion.

Consider this prophecy of Moses concerning his Teaching:

Deuteronomy 32:1-3
1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
3 Because I will publish the name of YAHWEH: ascribe ye greatness unto our ELOHIM.

Moses here tells us that the purpose of his teaching is to properly address YAHWEH through declaring HIS Name.

In all fairness to my reincarnationists friends, "distil as the dew" does indicate that some form of change takes place with the Law. Many reincarnationists do not like the Letter of the Law, all those jots and tittles. They feel that the letter of the Law can only kill them. So, they take every occasion to do away with the letter of the Law by distilling the letter into allegory.

Allegory is their dew, their gentile rain, their life giving shower that they are certain comes upon each and everyone of them. The only problem here is that reincarnationists are not tender grass. They are chopped off weeds, the seeds of which were long ago planted and are continually killed by the Law every time new growth appears, that is, according to their imagined belief. This happens over and over and over again for them. The Law is not life to them. The Letter of the Law kills them, and they are powerless to escape from the Letter that Killeth as their physical dying over and over and over again ably demonstrates and proves.

Not so with me. I am new growth. I have never been alive as a physical man before. This is my first time I have lived under the Law so I can look forward to the Law manifested itself to me in a gentle fashion, that is, if the words of Moses are true. This distillation occurs by the interaction of the physical and spiritual sides of the Law. Ultimately, the spiritual fulfillment of the Law is the gentle rain that gives life to me through the gracious work of Messiah Yahushua.

I can now live, and the Letter does not kill me because it no longer has power over me to kill.

Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of ELOHIM is eternal life through Yahushua Messiah our YAHWEH.

Consulting The Dead!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Reincarnationists claim the gnosis of secret things. In fairness to them, I must admit that secret things do exist. Moses says so:

Deuteronomy 29:29
29 The secret things belong unto YAHWEH our ELOHIM: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Notice here that the purpose of all revelation is the completion of the Law.

All subsequent revelation will be in lock step with the Law as Isaiah states here in no uncertain words:

Isaiah 8:16-20
16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
17 And I will wait upon YAHWEH, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
18 Behold, I and the children whom YAHWEH hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from YAHWEH of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their ELOHIM? for the living to the dead?
20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Messiah Yahushua and HIS ELECT are for signs and wonders. They have no need to consult the dead in order to determine their Way. They are the Living. They speak according to the Law and the Testimony. The Law is the Old Covenant, and the Testimony is the Ten Words or Commandments.

Their voice will not speak so as to add or take anything away from the Law or from the Testimony as has been commanded:

Deuteronomy 4:2
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YAHWEH your ELOHIM which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Tell me, ye reincarnationist, all you that consult with your former lives to determine your Way, is such consultation allowed by the Law? How is this consultation not a form of spiritual adultery?

The Law Teaches Incarnation!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Ask me if I really believe that seeking information or inquiring into our supposed past lives is the same as consulting familiar spirits? I actually do not. This inquiring is a form of familiarity, but it is not the same.

I know of a man who claims to be the reincarnation of James, the brother of Yahushua, the James of Acts 15 fame. This same man also claims numerous other past lives from which he has received knowledge and understanding.

Allow me to offer an alternate explanation for his intuitiveness.

Messiah Yahushua states that the spirit gives life to the flesh, and Messiah further states that HIS Speech is spirit and life (John 6:63). The Law teaches that the life of all flesh is in the blood:

Leviticus 17:11
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Accordingly, the spirit is in the blood, and when our blood is shed, it is the spirit which cries out (Genesis 4:10) from the ground.

This spirit, which gives life to our flesh, is distributed throughout our bodies by the blood, and this spirit can be found in the Seed of both men and women, the sperm and egg cells accordingly. When this Seed is united, a new human being comes into existence. This human being is unique. It has never lived before because its life comes from both its father and mother. So, each of us are a combination of two separate spirits that have been united in the womb of our mothers through conception.

This spirit knows everything about each of us (1 Corinthians 2:11). This spirit is an exact record of everything that we have said or done in our lives. So, there really are no secrets among men. From my father's spirit, I have access to countless former lives. It is the same from my mother's spirit. I can know all those lives intuitively because of the shared spirit. (This further developed ability is actually how Messiah was able to discern the secrets of both men and women.)

This sharing of spirit does not prove reincarnation. It proves family, but it does not prove reincarnation. Just because one should develop the ability to look into the lives of his or her ancestors does not mean that the offspring has lived before as an ancestor.

So, the Law teaches incarnation through the two becoming one. It does not teach reincarnation.

James The Brother Of Yahushua!

Is it possible for anyone living today to have access to the mind of someone living 2000 years ago, someone like James the Brother of Yahushua?:

Yes, it is possible. How so? Through the spiritual fulfillment of the Law!

Let's take a look at James. In Acts 15, we see James rendering a decision to expand the first spiritual Temple by allowing Gentiles to enter that Temple conditionally. Gentiles must be willing to follow four necessary conditions in order to have fellowship with Jews in that spiritual Temple.

This decision was made by James at the convening of a spiritual Great Sanhedrin at Jerusalem. All the leaders of the Church came together to determine whether expansion of the Temple would be allowed, and all agreed with the decision made by James.

In Judaism, the Great Sanhedrin consisted of 70 Judges plus the head of the Sanhedrin who was called the Nasi. This Nasi could be either the High Priest or the King. Of course, this position in the spiritual Sanhedrin is always occupied by Messiah Yahushua.

The Chief Justice or Vice-President of the Seventy was called the "Ab Bet Din" or Father of the Court of Justice. This position was occupied by James in the first Spiritual Temple.

Sharing The Spirit!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

The Seventy first make their appearance after Moses requested help in serving the Children of Israel:

Numbers 11:16-17
16 And YAHWEH said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

Notice that Moses is commanded to choose and gather 70 men to stand with him in serving the people. Notice also that YAHWEH will take of the spirit upon Moses and share that spirit with the 70 Elders.

Because these 70 now shared in the spirit of Moses, they could judge Israel as he himself would judge them.

Consider here these words of Paul:

1 Corinthians 2:11
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of ELOHIM knoweth no man, but the Spirit of ELOHIM.

Accordingly, the Seventy now knew Moses intimately, and because they possessed his spirit, Moses was multiplied in Israel.

This increase of Moses was not reincarnation. Moses was not reborn in the Seventy, but his spirit was shared with them. They all became one so to speak through the sharing of spirit.

What happens should Messiah Yahushua determine to share the spirit of James or Paul with the living today? Would this sharing prove reincarnation? Absolutely not! Evenso, all those blessed to share in their spirit would receive a whole lot of gifts, would they not? We might expect that their knowledge and understanding would explode, right/wrong/maybe?

Moses is the Nasi of the Seventy. Who is the Ab Bet Din of the first gathering? And who, mind you, are Eldad and Medad?

Eldad And Medad!

Moses, Himself, established higher courts in Israel, and Moses did also thereby establish the validity of oral tradition:

Deuteronomy 17:8-13
8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which YAHWEH thy ELOHIM shall choose; (This chosen physical place is Jerusalem, and this is why the Elders of the Church gathered at Jerusalem to decide the fate of Gentile Believers.)
9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which YAHWEH shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.
12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before YAHWEH thy ELOHIM, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

Decisions rendered by the High Court, i.e. the Sanhedrin, according to the Law of Moses, have the same status in Israel as the Law of Moses itself.

Moses chose Seventy judges, but Moses only ordained Sixty-Eight. Why?

Religious authority generally operates from the top down. ELOHIM is in charge. Normally, ELOHIM does indeed choose someone to represent HIM, and that someone, no matter how it is constituted or comes to be, always claims the authority of ELOHIM, and that authority will make decisions accordingly.

Even so, the existence of Eldad and Medad proves that YAHWEH ELOHIM does not always operate according to an established hierarchical system of religious authority. YAHWEH ELOHIM always reserves the right to send HIS messengers, HIS Witnesses, the Prophets, to established religious authority.

These two, Eldad and Medad, stand for the end time witness of Messiah Yahushua to this very dead world, and I will venture to say that they both have Ab Bet Din status.

Now, to the point of this discussion. James of Acts 15 fame was an Ab Bet Din. Will the person who claims to be the reincarnation of James today also be an Ab Bet Din?

Why Fellowship With Gentiles?

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

No one who denies the Letter of the Law, that is, the Letter that Killeth, such a one cannot have Ab Bet Din status. Why?

All men physically die because of their transgression of the Letter of the Law unless, of course, they are murdered or martyred like the 1st Witness to this world, the Apostolic Assembly. In the case of Martyrdom, Martyrs do not die for their own sin. They die because of the sin of others.

James, as Ab Bet Din, understood that physical life is maintained for Jews through the physical keeping of the Letter of the Law. He not only insisted that Jews follow the Letter of the Law, but he was also a firm advocate of strict compliance to Oral Tradition. James was a believer in the rule of the Law of Moses.

How then could James extend to Paul the right hand of fellowship? How could the spiritual Ab Bet Din of the 1st Spiritual Assembly or Church support anyone who advocated life apart from the physical keeping of the Letter of the Law?

The Two Fathers!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

My Messiah Yahushua fulfills multiple roles for HIS Believers. This is why Messiah was transfigured upon the Mount so that we might clearly see those roles. Messiah is not only Messiah, but Messiah is also that Prophet, and Messiah is also EliYah, the Restorer of all things.

That Prophet is a lawgiver like unto Moses (see Deuteronomy 18:17-19, John 1:25, Acts 3:22-23). Messiah Yahushua is this lawgiver. HE is the mediator of our New Covenant which writes the Law of YAHWEH upon our hearts and inward parts (see Jeremiah 31:33-34). This Law is both physical and spiritual:

2 Corinthians 3:6
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The Law is double sided. The Law according to the Letter has the power to kill, and the same Law according to the Spirit has the power to make alive. Lo Ammi was established to freely acquaint those that should come here to the spiritual fulfillment of the Law. It is the spiritual fulfillment of the Law which gives life to the hearer and doer, and this life is only found in Messiah Yahushua, the Land of our Inheritance.

Lo Ammi was also established to acquaint the reader with the two Fathers, namely:

• My YAHWEH Messiah Yahushua
• And this world's HaSatan

While we are servers of tables according to the New Covenant, we are also engaged in Messiah's wonderful work of turning the heart of the Fathers to their children and in turning the hearts of the Children to their true Fathers. This great EliYah work restores the true worship and praise of YAHWEH to this fallen world, and this worship and praise is only found in Messiah Yahushua.

How shall we know the Children of YAHWEH Messiah Yahushua? Does life give birth to death? No, life gives birth to life, and death gives birth to death. The Children of HaSatan all die, and the Children of HaSatan always seek to kill the Children of YAHWEH Messiah Yahushua, who like Messiah, also have life in themselves.

So, what about Reincarnationists? Whose children are they?

The Authority!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Prior to HIS Death, Burial, and 3rd Day Resurrection, Messiah Yahushua showed HIS hand in the battle between Pharisee and Sadducee (Tzaddikim):

Matthew 23:2-3
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Obviously, Messiah leaned towards the Pharisees as having the authority of Moses to determine religious practice.

After HIS DBR, Messiah Yahushua does now claim this authority of Moses for HIMSELF:

Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Yahushua came and spake unto them, saying, All power (please look up the meaning of "exousia") is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Having all authority, Yahushua does presently sit in the Seat of Moses. All must now listen to HIM as commanded by YAHWEH ELOHIM right here:

Deuteronomy 18:18-19
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

When that Prophet speaks, all must listen! How do we determine whether or not the risen Messiah Yahushua has spoken or is now speaking on any given issue?

Some Gnostics and Reincarnationists do presently teach that it is the duty of each man to seek the truth through the spirit that is within each of us. This does not work. We all have a spirit that is within us, and that spirit is deceived, and that spirit for the most part is against the speech of Messiah Yahushua and the Word of YAHWEH ELOHIM.

If the sense of our spirit within each of us is the guide to all truth, then why does Messiah also make mention of the NAME of the Father as well as HIS own NAME? All three must agree in our pursuit of the truth, must they not?

Sharing Authority!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Having all authority, Messiah Yahushua now is able to delegate that authority:

Matthew 16:19
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 18:18-20
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

This sharing of authority gives the Elders of the Assembly the ability to make decisions that will be totally in accord with the name of Messiah.

Consider the judgment of the spiritual Great Sanhedrin in Acts 15. This Assembly decided that Gentiles, who were seeking fellowship with Jewish Believers, this Sanhedrin determined that those Gentile Believers would not be subjected to physical circumcision as required by the Law of YAHWEH:

Exodus 12:43-49
43 And YAHWEH said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to YAHWEH, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Gentile Believers were strangers coming to Jewish Believers seeking to be accepted into full fellowship. How is it that the Elders could arrive at a decision concerning them that was counter to the one Law in Israel?

If you yourself were a Jewish Believer at that time, would you invite a uncircumcised Gentile into your home to eat the Passover Lamb with your family? Do you see the enormous problem that arose because of Gentile Believers seeking fellowship?

We Shall Not Die!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Only a few read Acts 15 with the understanding that the Great Spiritual Sanhedrin of the Apostolic Assembly made a decision which allowed heathen men and women like me to participate in LIFE NOW without strict adherence to the letter of the Law of YAHWEH! If one understands that the Jewish Believers at that time were really arguing about who, besides themselves, would be given the gift of LIFE NOW, then the whole idea of what it means to be saved greatly expands.

James and the other Apostles and the Jewish Believers understood that if one is saved from sin, then one is saved from lawlessness (anomia). They further understood that if one is saved from lawlessness, this automatically means that the saved one becomes now a doer of the Law. They all believed Moses who taught that life comes through performing righteousness and who also taught that death comes through disobedience, that is, through the transgression of the Law. They desired life and not death for themselves and for their families so the Jewish Believers were all zealous for the keeping of the Law (see Acts 21:20-24).

Please pray that you be granted to understand that the real issue of Acts 15 revolves around the issue of life and death for Jews as well as non Jews. Please take the time to study Acts 13 and especially Paul's quote of Habakkuk 1:5:

Acts 13:41
41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

Please go to Habakkuk and study the issue there. Look at these words:

Habakkuk 1:4-5
4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

Notice that the wicked are made strong by YAHWEH for our correction (see verse 12)! Also take note of these momentous little words also in verse 12:

WE SHALL NOT DIE

Is this not our triumph? Despite the strength of our enemies, and death is a giant of an enemy, some of us will hear these words and dare to believe and live (see Acts 13:42-46 and notice especially verse 46). Paul and Barnabas were talking about LIFE NOW, and this remarkable teaching is what excited the whole city in Acts 13.

This is the very salvation that is at stake for the Gentiles (the heathen) through the judgment of the Apostolic Assembly in Acts 15!

Signs And Wonders!

Who are these Gentiles seeking fellowship with Jews in Acts 15?

Here is a little of what the Law says about all of us:

Deuteronomy 30:1-6
1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither YAHWEH thy ELOHIM hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto YAHWEH thy ELOHIM, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3 That then YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither YAHWEH thy ELOHIM hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will YAHWEH thy ELOHIM gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love YAHWEH thy ELOHIM with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

The risen YAHWEH Messiah Yahushua is the Land of my inheritance, and HE in great compassion has sought me out and gathered me out of this world unto HIMSELF. Messiah has rendered my captivity to sin and death void so that I might live in HIM, right here and now, in this one lifetime graciously given to me. I have no need of multiple lifetimes, as do the Reincarnationists, because YAHWEH is my inheritance.

Indeed, is this not a great wonder?:

Isaiah 8:18
18 Behold, I and the children whom YAHWEH hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from YAHWEH of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Can anyone think of a greater sign given to physical Israel, that is, physical Jews, than Gentiles being delivered from the captivity of their forefathers (the lost Tribes) who received all the curses, and we through them?:

Deuteronomy 28:46
46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

Just as we received all the curses so that all might see that we are not the people or children of YAHWEH so also do we now begin to receive the blessings so that all might see that we are HIS People, HIS Children, through Messiah Yahushua.

The Double Standard!

The Great Spiritual Sanhedrin of the Apostolic Assembly determined to establish a double standard within the Assembly between Jewish Believers and Gentile Believers. This is not generally recognized.

Jewish Believers felt compelled to follow the Law both written and oral while Gentile Believers were granted a dispensation by their Jewish Brethren concerning strict adherence to the letter of the Law.

Notice in Acts 15 that this whole issue was extremely divisive for the Apostolic Assembly (see verse 2 and verse 7). I mean, why set a precedent within the Assembly which allows for the transgression of the Law? And this is exactly what Jewish Believers determined for themselves and for Gentile Believers when they bound upon Gentiles only four necessary observances.

Let's take the time to follow the arguments. The Apostle Peter was the first to address the Assembly. Peter understood that ELOHIM'S Holy Spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple. If ELOHIM grants the gift of HIS Holy Spirit to Gentiles, who follow not after the letter of the Law, how can any Jewish Believer stand in judgment of ELOHIM and declare Believing Gentiles to be unclean or impure recepients of the Holy Spirit and, consequently, not worthy of fellowship within the community of Believers?

Peter's argument is very compelling, but the Assembly was not moved by his argument to rise in agreement. Notice that they remained silent, desiring to chew the cud so to speak.

I desire here to look at Peter's argument in light of what some Reincarnationists do presently believe. If I had been present at that Great Sanhedrin as a Believer in modified reincarnation as presently advocated by a certain gentleman who claims to be the reincarnation of the Ab Bet Din, James, the Brother of Yahushua, would I have risen in agreement with Peter or would I have remained silent?

The Sharing Of The Holy Spirit!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Peter declares that the Holy Spirit is given to Gentiles:

Acts 15:8
8 And ELOHIM, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

Whence cometh this Holy Spirit? That Holy Spirit comes from ELOHIM cannot be denied. If Holy Spirit is the spirit of ELOHIM, and if Holy Spirit is shared with men as a free gift, that is, by grace, what is the effect of this sharing upon our individual spirits?

Both Peter and James, the Brother of Yahushua, received the gift of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, an annual Jewish high Sabbath (see Leviticus 23:15-22).

Let's imagine, as many now do, that reincarnation is the rule. If so, then both Peter and James, in their quest for perfection, lived and died a number of times before the Holy Spirit was given to them for their perfection on the Day of Pentecost.

If they indeed reached perfection during the lifetime in which they received the Holy Spirit, that is, two thousand years ago, what need would they have for additional lifetimes? Belief in reincarnation actually denies that men can reach perfection through sharing in the gift of ELOHIM'S Holy Spirit. Belief in reincarnation says that the strong arm of YAHWEH is too short to save you from your imperfection, right here and now.

So, James, the Brother of Yeshua, did you reach perfection two thousand years ago? If so, why did you physically die, and why then were you reincarnated? Will you give answer?
