    1. Return from Captivity

    In the days of the Moshiach, all of Israel will be gathered to Israel were they will dwell in safety forever. “Then Hashem, your G-d, will bring back your captivity and have mercy upon you, and He will gather you in from all the peoples to which Hashem, your G-d, has scattered you. If your dispersed will be at the ends of heaven, from there Hashem, your G-d, will gather you in and from there He will take you. Hashem, your G-d, will bring you to the Land that your forefathers possessed and you shall possess it.” D’varim (Duet) 30:3-5


    “He will raise a banner for the nations and assemble the castaways of Israel; and He will gather in the dispersed ones of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 11:12


    ”He will choose Israel again and grant them rest upon their land...The nations will take them and bring them to their place” Yeshayahu 14:1,2


    “It shall be on that day that Hashem will thresh from the surging River to the Brook of Egypt, and you will be gathered up on by one, O Children of Israel. It shall be on that day a great shofar will be blown and those who are lost in the land of Assyria and those cast away in the land of Egypt will come together, and they will prostrate themselves to Hashem on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.” Yeshayahu 27:12-13


    “The redeemed of Hashem will return and come to Zion with glad song, with eternal gladness on their heads. They will attain joy and gladness, and sadness and sighing will flee.” Yeshayahu 35:10


    “Fear not, for I am with you; from the East I will bring your offspring and from the West I will gather you. I will say to the North, ‘Give them over!’ and to the South, ‘Do not withhold!’ Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth” Yeshayahu 43:5-6


    “For thus said my Lord Hashem: Behold I raise My hand toward nations, and I will hoist my banner towards peoples, and they will bring your children in their arms and your daughters will be carried on their shoulder.” Yeshayahu 49:22


    “Lift up your eyes all around and see, they are all assembling and coming to you; your sons will arrive from afar and your daughters will be raised at their side.” Yeshayahu 60:4


    “For the islands will place their hope in Me, with the ships of Tarshish in earlier times, to bring your children from afar with their gold and silver with them” Yeshayahu 60:9


    “They will bring all your brethren from all the nations as an offering to Hashem—with horses and with chariots and with covered wagons and with mules—with joyous dances, to My holy mountain, Jerusalem, says Hashem” Yeshayahu 66:20


    “’As Hashem lives, Who brought up and brought back the offspring of the House of Israel from the North and from all the lands wherein He had dispersed them,’ and they will dwell in their own land” Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 23:8


    “For behold, days are coming—the word of Hashem—when I will return the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, said Hashem, and I will return them to the land that I gave their forefathehrs, and they will possess it.” Yirmeyahu 30:3


    “But as for you, do not fear, My servant Jacob, the word of Hashem, and do not be afraid, Israel; for Behold, I am saving you from distant places, and your descendants from the land of their captivity, and Jacob will return and be at peace and tranquil, and none will make him afraid.” Yirmeyahu 30:10


    “Thus said Hahsem: Behold, I am returning the captivity of the tents of Jacob and I will have mercy on his abodes, the City will be built upon its hill, and the Palace will sit in its proper place.” Yirmeyahu 30:18


    “Behold, I will bring them from the land of the North and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, the pregnant and the birthing together; a great congregation will return here. With weeping they will come ant through supplications I will bring them; I will guide them on streams of water, on a direct path in which they will not stumble; for I have been a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn.” Yirmeyahu 31:7-8


    “I will return the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel, and will rebuild them as at first.” Yirmeyahu 33:7


    “For I will return the captivity of the land as at first, said Hashem.” Yirmeyahu 33:11


    “Thus said the Lord Hashem: When I gather in the House of Israel from the peoples among whom they were scattered, then I will be sanctified through them in the eyes of the nations, and they will dwell on their land that I gave to my servant Jacob.” Y’chezqel (Ezekiel) 28:25


    “I will remove them from the peoples and gather them from the lands and bring them to their soil, and I will tend them upon the mountains of Israel, in the streams and in all the land’s habitation.” Y’chezqel 34:13


    “I will take you from among the nations and gather you from all the lands, and I will bring you to your own soil.” Y’chezqel 36:24


    “Thus said the Lord Hashem: Behold, I am taking the Children of Israel from among the nations to which they have gone; I will gather them from all around and I will bring them to their soil.” Y’chezqel 37:21


    “They will dwell on the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, within which your fathers dwelled; they and their children and their children’s children will dwell upon it forever” Y’chezqel 37:25


    “Therefore, thus said the Lord Hashem: Now I will bring back the captivity of Jacob and show mercy to the entire House of Israel and be zealous for My holy Name. They will bear their shame and all their betrayal that they committed against Me when they dwelt securely upon their soil and none will make them afraid, when I return them from the peoples and gather them in from the land of their enemies and I become sanctified through them in the eyes of many nations. Then they will that I am Hahsem, their G-d, for I have exiled them to the nations, and I will bring them to their land, and will not leave any of them there.” Y’chezqel 39:25-28


    “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I will bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem.” Yoel (Joel) 4:1


    “I will return the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild desolate cities and settle them...” Amos 9:14


    “At that time I will bring you in and at that time I will gather you; for I will make you into a good name and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I will return your captivities before your eyes, said Hashem.” Tz’fanyah (Zepheniah) 3:20



    2. Abundant Offspring

    In the days of Moshiach, Israel will be fruitful and multiply.


    “Hashem, your G-d, will bring you to the Land that your forefathers possessed and you shall possess it; He will do good to you and make you more numerous than your forefathers.” D’varim 30:4


    “Hashem will make you abundant in all your handiwork—in the fruit of your womb...” D’varim 30:9


    “The smallest will increase a thousandfold and the youngest into a mighty nation. I am Hashem, in its time I will hasten it.” Yeshayahu 60:22


    “And it shall be that when you multiply and become fruitful in the land, in those days—“ Yirmeyahu 3:16


    “I will multiply them, and they will not be diminished; and I will make them heavy and they will not dwindle” Yirmeyahu 30:19


    “Just as the hosts of heaven cannot be counted nor the sand of the shores measured, so will I multiply the seed of My servant David and the Levites, My attendants.” Yirmeyahu 33:22


    “Thus said the Lord Hashem: With this also I will relate to the inquiries of the House of Israel, to act for them. I will multiply them, the people, like sheep.” Y’chezqel 36:37


    “They will dwell on the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, within which your fathers dwelled; they and their children and their children’s children will dwell upon it forever” Y’chezqel 37:25


    “I will make the lame one into a remnant and the one forced to wander into a mighty nation” Michah 4:7

    3. Material Abundance

    In the days of Moshiach, Israel will experience physical prosperity.


    “Hashem will make you abundant in all your handiwork—in the fruit of your womb, the fruit of your animals, and the fruit of your Land—for good” D’varim 30:9


    “G-d will give rain for your seed that you will sow in the ground, and bread from the produce of the ground; it will be fat and rich; your livestock will graze in a broad pasture on that day. The oxen and the young donkeys that work the land will eat rich fodder, which has been winnowed with a shovel and a fan.” Yeshayahu 30:23-24


    “In place of copper I will bring gold, and in place of the stones, iron” Yeshayahu 60:17


    “They will build houses and inhabit them, they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.” Yeshayahu 65:21


    “For thus said Hashem: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river and the wealth of the nations like a surging stream, and you will suckle; you will be carried on the side and dandled on the knee.” Yeshayahu 66:12


    “The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its produce, and they will be secure upon their land.” Y’chezqel 34:27


    “I will summon the grain and increase it, and I will not inflict famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you will no longer be subject to the shame of hunger among the nations” Y’chezqel 36:29-30


    “The grainaries will be filled with grain, and the vats will overflow with win and oil.” Yoel 2:24


    “And it shall be on that day that the mountains will drip with wine, the hills will flow with milk, and all the watercourses of Judah will flow with water” Yoel 4:18


    “Behold, days are coming—the word of Hashem—when the plowmen will meet the reaper, and the treader of grapes will meet the one who carries the seed; the mountains will drip with juice and all the hills will melt. I will return the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild desolate cities and settle them; they will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will cultivate gardens and eat their fruit.” Amos 9:13-14


    “They will sit, each man under his vine and under his fig tree, and none will make them afraid” Michah 4:4



    4. Jerusalem Rebuilt


    “Awaken, awaken! Don your strength, O Zion; don your garments of splendor, O Jerusalem, the holy city, for uncircumcised and defiled people will no longer enter you. Shake the dust from yourself; arise and sit, O Jerusalem” Yeshayahu 52:1-2


    “Thus said Hahsem: Behold, I am returning the captivity of the tents of Jacob and I will have mercy on his abodes, the City will be built upon its hill, and the Palace will sit in its proper place.” Yirmeyahu 30:18


    “Behold, days are coming—the word of Hashem—when the City will be built up unto Hashem, from the Tower of Hananel until the Corner Gate around to Goah. And all the valley of the corpses and the place of the ashes and all the fields up to the Kidron Valley until the corner of the Horses’ Gate to the east will be holy unto Hashem; it will not be abandoned nor destroyed again forever.” Yirmeyahu 31:37-39


    “Thus you will know that I am Hashem your G-d, Who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain; Jerusalem will be holy, and aliens will no longer pass through her.” Yoel 4:17



    5. Enemies Cursed

    In the days of Moshiach, Israel’s enemies will be punished for their oppression.


    “Hashem, your G-d, will place all these imprecations upon your enemies and those who hate you, who pursued you.” D’varim 30:7


    “The nations will take them and bring them to their place, and the House of Israel will possess them as slaves and maidservants upon the land of Hashem; they will be captors over their captors and they will rule over their oppressors.” Yeshayahu 14:2


    “For I am with you—the word of Hashem—to save you; for I will bring annihilation upon all the nations among whom I have dispersed you, but upon you I will not bring annihilation; I will chastise you with justice, but I will never eliminate you completely.” Yirmeyahu 30:11


    “It shall be on that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come upon Jerusalem.” Z’charyah 12:9



    6. Service of the Nations

    In the days of Moshiach, the Nations will Serve Israel so they will be free to study Torah.


    “The nations will take them and bring them to their place, and the House of Israel will possess them as slaves and maidservants upon the land of Hashem, they will be captors over their captors and they will rule their oppressors.” Yeshayahu 14:2


    “Kings will be your nurturers and their princesses your wet nurses. With faces to the ground they will prostrate themselves to you; they will lick the dust of your feet.” Yeshayahu 49:23


    “Then the sons of foreigners will build your walls and their kings will serve you.” Yeshayahu 60:10


    “You will nurse from the milk of the nations and from the breast of kings you will nurse.” Yeshayahu 60:16

      7. Peace

      In the days of Moshiach, there will be universal peace.


      “He will judge among the nations, and will settle arguments of many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation will not lift sword against nation and they will no longer study warfare.” Yeshayahu 2:4


      “The wolf will live with the sheep and the leopard will lie down with the kid; and a calf, a lion whelp and a fatling will walk together, and a young child will lead them. A cow and a bear will graze and their young will lie down together; and a lion, like cattle will eat hay. A suckling will play by a viper’s hole; and a newly weaned child will stretch his hand toward an adder’s lair. They will neither injure nor destroy in all of My sacred mountain; for the earth will be as filled with knowledge of Hashem, as waters covering the sea bed.” Yeshayahu 11:6-9


      “Wolf and lamb will graze as one, a lion—like cattle—will eat straw, a snake’s food will be dirt; they will not inflict harm nor destruction in all My holy mountain, says Hashem.” Yeshayahu 65:25


      “For thus said Hashem: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river and the wealth of the nations like a surging stream, and you will suckle; you will be carried on the side and dandled on the knee.” Yeshayahu 66:12

      “He will judge between many peoples, and settle the arguments of mighty nations from far away. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning knives; nation will not lift sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.” Michah 4:3


      “I will eliminate any battle-chariot from Ephraim and any war horse from Jerusalem, and the bow of warfare will be eliminated; and he will speak peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea and from the river to the ends of the earth.” Z’charyah (Zechariah) 9:10



      8. Unified Israel

      In the days of Moshiach, the kingdom of Judah and the kingdom of Ephraim will be united.


      “The jealousy of Ephraim shall stop and the oppression of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah and Judah will not harass Ephraim. They will fly in unison against the Philistine to the west, and together they will plunder the people of the east.” Yeshayahu 11:13-14


      “In those days the House of Judah will walk with the House of Israel, and they will come together from the land of the North to the land that I have given as a possession to your fathers.” Yirmeyahu 3:18


      “Thus said the Lord Hashem; Behold, I am taking the wood of Joseph which is in the hand of Ephraim and the tribes of Israel, his comrades, and I am placing them and him together with the wood of Judah; and I will make them into one piece of wood, and they will become one in My hand.” Y’chezqel 37:19


      “I will make them into one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel, and one king will be a king for all of them; they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into two kingdoms, ever again.” Y’chezqel 37:22



      9. Knowledge of Hashem

      In the days of Moshiach, the world will be full of the knowledge of G-d.


      “The earth will be as filled with knowledge of Hashem as water covering the sea bed.” Yeshayahu 11:9


      “It shall be that at every New Moon and on every Sabbath all mankind will come and prostrate themselves before Me, says Hashem.” Yeshayahu 66:23


      “They will no longer teach—each man his fellow, each man his brother—saying, ‘Know Hashem!’ For all of them will know Me, from their smallest to their greatest” Yirmeyahu 31:33


      “For then I will change the nations to speak a pure language, so that they all will proclaim the Name of Hashem, to worship Him with united resolve.” Tz’fanyah 3:9



      10. Long Life

      In the days of Moshiach mans life expectancy will be greatly increased.


      “Never again will come from there a young child or old man who will not fill his days; for the youth of one hundred years will die and a sinner at the age of one hundred years will be cursed” Yeshayahu 65:20


      “For the lifetime of My people will be like the lifetime of the tree, and My chosen one will wear out their handiwork.” Yeshayahu 65:22



      11. Torah Law to be Observed

      In the days of Moshiach, all the Laws of Torah will be enforce and observed.


      “Hashem, your G-d, will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, to love Hashem, your G-d, with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live” D’varim 30:6


      “You shall return and listen to the voice of Hashem, and perform all His commandment that I command you today.” D’varim 30:8


      “I will put my Torah on their heart; I will be a G-d for them and they will be a people for Me.” Yirmeyahu 31:32


      “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My spirit within you, and I will make it so that you will follow My decrees and guard My ordinances and fulfill them. You will dwell in the land that I gave to your forefathers; you will be a people to Me and I will be a G-d to you.” Y’chezqel 36:25-28


      “Thus said the Lord Hashem: On the day when I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the ruins will be built.” Y’chezqel 36:33


      “They will follow My ordinances and keep My decrees and fulfill them.” Y’chezqel 37:24



      A. A King Appointed

      “You shall surely set over yourself a king whom Hashem, your G-d, shall choose” D’varim 17:15


      “A staff will emerge from the stump of Jesse and a shoot will sprout from his roots.” Yeshayahu 11:1


      “Behold, days are coming—the word of Hashem—when I will establish a righteous sprout from David; a king will reign and prosper and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land.” Yirmeyahu 23:5 “They will serve Hashem their G-d and David their king, whom I will establish over them.” Yirmeyahu 30:9


      “In those days, at that time, I will cause a sprout of righteousness to sprout forth for David, and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land.” Yirmeyahu 33:15


      “For thus says Hashem: There shall not be cut off from David a man who sits on the throne of the House of Israel.” Yirmeyahu 33:17


      “My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them; they will follow My ordinances and keep my decrees and fulfill them.” Y’chezqel 37:24



      B. Kohanim

      “From them, too, will I take men to be Kohanim and Levites, says Hashem.” Yeshayahu 66:21


      “And for the Kohanim, the Levites, there will never be cut off a man from before Me who offers elevation-offering and burns meal-offerings and performs feast-offerings all the days.” Yirmeyahu 33:18


      “Just as the hosts of heaven cannot be counted nor the sand of the shore measured, so will I multiply the seed of My servant David and the Levites, My attendants.” Yirmeyahu 33:22


      “He will sit smelting and purifying silver; he will purify the children of Levi and refine them like gold and like silver, and they will be for Hashem presenters of offerings in righteousness. Then the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to Hashem as in the days of old.” Malachi 3:3-4



      C. Leaders

      “Then I will restore your judges as at first and your counselors as at the beginning” Yeshayahu 1:26


      “I shall appoint shepherds for you according to My own heart, and they will care for you with knowledge and wisdom.” Yirmeyahu 3:15



      D. Beis HaMikdosh Rebuilt

      “Many people will go and say, “Come, let us go up to the Mountain of Hashem, to the Temple of the G-d of Jacob, and He will teach us of His ways and we will walk in His paths.” For from Zion will the Torah come forth, and the word of Hashem from Jerusalem.” Yeshayahu 2:3


      “I will place My Sanctuary among them forever.” Y’chezqel 37: 26


      “The nations will know that I am Hashem Who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary will be among them forever” Y’chezqel 37:28


      “It will be in the end of days that the mountain of the Temple of Hashem will be firmly established as the most prominent of the mountains, and it will be exalted up above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will go and say, ‘Come let us go up to the Mountain of Hashem and to the Temple of the G-d of Jacob, and He will teach us His ways and we will walk in his paths.’ For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of Hashem from Jerusalem.” Michah 4:1-2
