• Sinless?

Was Messiah completely righteous? Did He ever sin once?

    I'm fishing.

Fishing For Religion (Old Arrested Development Song)

      Greetings!

I REALLY don't think so. I know AB has a different idea. But I would like to know what is being said here:
John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
      Peace,
      Valid Name
      Luke 2:14

        Robin & Valid:

        Thanks for the replies.

        About John 5:18...
Perhaps the "Jews that sought to kill him" only supposed that he had broken the Sabbath and called himself equal to God???

If he would have sinned, he wouldn't be the Messiah.

He broke the 'halacha'... or 'oral laws' of the Sabbath, not the written law of the sabbath.

I can explain more fully if anyone cares

              Hey,

I care. I'd like to hear your explanation.

Jeannie
If he would have sinned, he wouldn't be the Messiah.

Good answer, Jeannie!

But, why would he not be the Messiah if he had committed one little sin?

Seriously, I'll get to answering the halacha issue very soon.
