It makes me very sad to hear that you think my Messiah is a schizophrenic.

I think you're referring to Phillipians 2:7, but it doesn't say He emptied Himself of the Godhead. It was glory that Immanuel (God with us) gave up (see John 17:5).

But, I've got a problem trying to make sense out of this true G~d and true man theory. James 1:13 (I think that I've got the right book this time ) states that G~d cannot be tempted, and Hebrews 4:15 states that Messiah "was in all points tempted like as <I>we are, yet</i> without sin." Think about it: in order to be really tempted, He would have to be totally separated and unaware of His "G~d side," and when He worked miracles, one might think that He transcended His "man side." I looked schizophrenia up in the dictionary, and it is defined as: "a mental disorder characterized by...delusions of persecution and omnipotence, often with unimpaired intelligence..." After further consideration, I think that Multiple Personality Disorder might fit the G~d/man theory more accurately than schizophrenia. I find it more logical to consider the probability that Messiah emptied himself of the G~dhead in order to be tempted as we and, by the power of G~d's spirit, could overcome without sin. This Spirit also gave the Messiah (and those who followed afterward) the ability to work miracles (i.e. it was not necessary to BE G~d in order to perform the mighty works that Messiah accomplished).

Regarding your question about Herbert Armstrong: If you are referring to Mr. Armstrong's belief that G~d is increasing His kingdom (Isa 9:7), His "family," then "yes" I believe in G~d as taught by him. I'm not sure if you have in mind other things that Mr. Armstrong taught (I was never an "official" member of his church) so, if you've got specific questions about what I believe, feel free to ask. I will say, though, that there are several things that we, here at The Tzaddikim website, believe and teach that Mr. Armstrong did not.

Well Last night I had no dream, but the night before I dreamt I was joining the military. The military liked me because I asked no questions and just did what they said. They also said I ought to be a pilot in AirForce basically because I was weird.

My dreams are almost always about some kind of war, whether big or small, the end of the world, and often have weapons in them. I find the end of the world ones almost humorous. Most people hid from the falling asteroids or nuclear explosions. I sat and watched them.

I often wake up thinking 'what the heck?'

If you ever fall asleep on your arm and it falls asleep, it will probably wake you up. Then you can start shaking your arm to wake it up, but you only have control over the shoulder. When you raise your arm straight up in the air hoping it might wake up . . . don't do that. Since you can't control your elbow your hand will fall and hit you in the face. I've done that a couple times.

Dear Brad,

No, the night wasn't good. Three hours sleep, I got. My little one fell in the pond on Saturday while feeding the new ducks (don't even ask how it happened!) and since then has coughed and sneezed and been miserable, which means I am too. The temperature outside was about 47 degrees; I don't know what the water temp was. Such is life in the country. She slept last night from 12:00 to 3:00 and is back asleep now, but I am full of strong coffee.

The only dream I've had in several months was about a week ago. I dreamed that I came home and my husband had sold the house and all the furniture and bought a smaller one in the next county.
